Golden Age Home Employee’s Benefits Day
Golden Age Home offered Employee’s Benefits Day, October 2, 2009. The purpose behind this fair is to give our employees information about organizations and services in the area that they can utilize. We have approximately 100 employees ranging from mid 20s to mid 60s. Due to the nature of our business a vast majority of our employees are women who are caring for family members at home as well as at work. Information from 27 different organizations ranging from Habitat for Humanity to State Farm Insurance was available to the employees. (see below for full listing) Representatives from these organizations answered questions, gave away pens, notepads and lots of information. During the monthly in-service held that day, each company was given the opportunity to introduce themselves and give a brief summary of what they offered for the employees. The day ended with raffle prizes, fashion show and good food.
Golden Age Home would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to all those who helped make our Employee’s Benefits Day a HUGE success.
