History

Established in 1960, the mission of Golden Age Home is to provide nursing and retirement care in a friendly, Christian environment, caring for those who can no longer care for themselves and helping them maintain the optimum quality of life with dignity. Methodist Church members recognized the need for a Christian environment for the elderly who could no longer maintain their homes. The popularity of Golden Age Home grew so quickly that there was a waiting list for admission and only residents who could walk in and care for themselves were accepted. Today, this modern facility is prepared to accommodate the increasing demands for elderly nursing care.
