People desiring admission are welcomed into the Golden Age Home Assisted Living facility. The prospective resident and family will be given a tour of the facility. The Assisted Living Manager will complete an informal interview with the family and potential resident to help establish eligibility. Medical records will be reviewed and a full application completed prior to admission. 

During the admission process a physician’s statement of appropriateness of admission must be obtained by Golden Age Assisted Living. The contract for services must be signed and payment must be received.

Regular Personal Care Daily Rates (32 Rooms)

PLAN 1: Includes rent (all utilities except phone), meals, attendant care, activities, housekeeping and cable television, Lifeline emergency call button usable anywhere in facility, & personal A/C & heater unit in each room.

Large Room (One Person): $68.00 per day / includes bathroom with shower

Small Room (One Person): $55.00 per day / includes restroom only

Private Room (Couple): $50.00 per person, per day / includes bathroom with shower

Efficiency Apartment Monthly Rates

Rent for any of these affordable efficiencies is based on an individual’s income and savings and is determined by using Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs guidelines. If the individual qualifies as low income, the rent is set at $390.00 per month.  The rent for those who qualify as medium income is $425.00 per month

PLAN 2: Personal Care Efficiencies  (6 Apartments)

$1265.00 - $1300.00 – Includes rent (of either $390.00 or $425.00), (all utilities except phone), meals, attendant care, activities, housekeeping and cable television.

PLAN 3: Regular Efficiencies (10 Apartments)

$390.00 - $425.00 – Includes rent (all utilities except phone) and maintenance housekeeping only.  Monthly meal plan may be purchased separately.
