LUCY ESTRADA

Lucy Estrada, our dedicated Resident Care Manager, became an invaluable member of the Golden Age Home team in late 2019. Initially stepping in as the Office Manager, Lucy demonstrated exceptional adaptability and compassion, especially during the transformative year of 2020. Her willingness to go above and beyond by managing residents' medications, grocery shopping online, and providing technology assistance showcased her deep commitment to the well-being of our community.

Lucy's seamless transition to the role of Resident Care Manager was propelled by her natural inclination to nurture and her keen ability to coordinate complex care needs efficiently. In her current role, she expertly manages relationships with healthcare providers, ensuring our residents have access to the necessary medical services. Lucy oversees the Personal Care Attendants and housekeeping staff, ensuring that our environment is not only clean and safe but also warm and welcoming.

Her background in hotel management and mental health care equips her with a unique perspective and skill set, enabling her to address the diverse needs of our residents. From coordinating medical appointments and therapies to maintaining clear and open communication with healthcare professionals and families, Lucy ensures that every resident receives personalized and attentive care.

Outside of her professional life, Lucy is a proud mother of three sons and a doting grandmother to seven grandchildren, bringing the same level of care and dedication to her family as she does to the Golden Age Home community. Her role is pivotal in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our residents, making her a cherished member of our team.
