Golden Age Home will introduce a very special addition — the Memorial Art Wall.

This meaningful one-of-a-kind art installation is designed to honor the lives and legacies of those who have been part of the Golden Age Home family. Created as a lasting tribute, the Memorial Art Wall allows individuals, families, and supporters to purchase a handcrafted art piece in memory or in honor of someone special.

Each piece will be permanently displayed within Golden Age Home, serving as a symbol of remembrance, gratitude, and community for generations to come.

Meaning Behind the Art

Each element of the Memorial Art Wall has been intentionally designed with symbolism and heart:

🕊️ Birds – “In Memory Of”

Bird art pieces represent residents who lived at Golden Age Home and have since passed. Each bird honors a life, a story, and the lasting impact they left on our community.

🌸 Flowers – “In Honor Of”

Flower art pieces recognize those who worked at Golden Age Home, lived here, supported our mission, or are honored through a donation. Flowers symbolize service, growth, and the care that continues to surround our residents.

 

Each piece may be purchased and dedicated with a name, creating a deeply personal and meaningful memorial.

Golden Age Home is honored to partner with Alana Chandler, local Lockhart artist and owner of a beloved Arts & Culinary Room business.

Alana has graciously donated her time, creativity, and expertise to:

  • Handcraft each memorial art piece

  • Design the overall installation

  • Professionally install the pieces within Golden Age Home
