About Our Board

Leadership for Golden Age Home has always come from a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of volunteer leaders from diverse backgrounds. Volunteering for an organization is a true act of selflessness. Each member brings a unique set of skills and perspectives that collectively steer our non-profit organization towards its strategic goals. They dedicate their time and expertise to ensure that we adhere to our values of integrity, compassion, and excellence in senior care. Through their leadership, Golden Age Home was not only founded but also sustained through six decades of change. As with every organization, some of those years were exciting changes (the planning and building of the Nursing Home), while others were tougher changes (such as COVID-19). Their steadfast guidance and reliance on the Lord have made Golden Age Home a stronger organization that has sustained the ups and downs.

This volunteer board not only sets the direction for our organization but also embodies our commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors in Lockhart, Texas, through dedicated, faith-based service.
